This is an exciting opportunity to join The Full Circle Team within Children’s Services, providing essential administrative and financial support that helps ensure adoptive families receive the services they need.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

As our Administrative & Finance Support Officer, you’ll play a key part in the smooth running of both the Full Circle Team and the Adoption Support Fund (ASF) function. Your work will directly support the delivery of vital services to adoptive families and children across the region.

You will:

  • Maintain high-quality administrative support for the Full Circle and Adoption Services
  • Develop and maintain financial processes in line with Durham County Council and external provider requirements

  • Develop specialist service knowledge to support effective service delivery

Your work will help ensure that adoptive families receive timely, effective support - and that services run smoothly behind the scenes. This is a role where your administrative and financial skills genuinely contribute to improving lives.

We encourage you to contact Joanne Hughes | Joanne.Hughes@durham.gov.uk to arrange an informal discussion about the role.
