Our Children and Families Directorate work together to drive forward the vision of the City Council. Our focus is on ensuring children and families in Newcastle feel safe, happy, included and listened to. We are dedicated to reducing the number of children and young people living in poverty, support families to stay safely together and support babies to have the best start in life.

As Assistant Director for Education you will strive for excellence across our education landscape, providing supportive and clear leadership, using your expertise to ensure education
services are focussed on delivering the best outcomes for children and young people.
