Wakefield Adult Education Service is rated a ‘Good’ provider by Ofsted and as a result we have seen a significant increase in the number of adults taking qualifications with us. We are looking for invigilators to support us with the delivery of our examinations who would be paid on a casual basis depending on the hours that they work.
You will be part of a high performing team with a 100% record in our Examination Inspections by the Joint Council of Qualifications (JCQ).
We are looking for reliable, responsible people who are able to display a flexible approach to the job role. Previous invigilation experience would be advantageous but not essential as full training would be given to all successful candidates. You will be asked to follow specific guidelines and follow procedures under the direction of our Exams officer.
Our exams calendar, although covers key peak sessions, also incorporates adhoc tests throughout the year which will require invigilation over key locations across the Wakefield District. We would welcome applications from people who can be available on an adhoc basis. We also require an element of flexibility and on occasion an element of short notice arrangements although we would try to keep this to a minimum.
