Part time 0.4 FTE Teacher- working pattern Thursday and Friday.
Temporary contract until 2027.
 
The Governors of Belmont C of E Primary School wish to appoint a highly motivated and passionate teacher to join our ‘Belmont Family’. We are seeking a professional with the skills, enthusiasm, energy and commitment to teach primary aged children. We are a friendly and happy school with a strong Christian ethos.

The successful candidate will become part of a supportive team and dedicated staff, who have high expectations of behaviour and learning and demonstrate a caring attitude towards our children’s academic and personal development.
 
We are looking for a teacher who:
 
•         Is passionate about teaching and enjoys working with children
•         Has recent effective practice of teaching primary aged children
•         Is committed to our Christian vision and ethos
•         Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and  understanding of the primary curriculum
•         Demonstrates strong classroom practice with high standards of teaching and learning to motivate, value and nurture all children
•         Has very high expectations of all children and is focused on academic achievement and progress
•         Has excellent behaviour and pastoral management skills
•         Can work well as part of a team and is willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
•         Is highly motivated with a positive ‘I can-do’ attitude
