The Governors seek to appoint a committed, experienced and enthusiastic Headteacher with senior management experience.
 
Acre Rigg Infant School is a large 2-3 form entry school with a popular nursery for two, three and four year olds.
 
Acre Rigg is a forward thinking and inclusive school; children, their well-being and education, are at the heart of everything we do.
 
Following our successful Ofsted Inspection in May 2026, we are looking for a Head Teacher who will help continue to drive our shared vision of excellence.

- A strategic thinker with the vision and passion to drive forward curriculum, ensuring the highest levels of teaching and learning
- An outstanding communicator who has the ability and experience of building a strong cohesive school community
