Early Communication Together Team at Pound Park Nursery School

Salary:                      Scale 6, SCP 18-20: £30,000.92 - £30,900.53 (actual salary after pro rata)

Hours:                     Mon-Fri, 8.30am – 4.15pm with a 45 min lunchbreak (35 hours per week)

Start Date:               January 2025 or asap

Contract:                 Permanent contract (term time only 39 weeks per year)

Closing Date:          Monday 2^nd December at 5.00pm

Do you have a wealth of experience of working with young children with social communication needs? Do you hold a Level 3 Childcare Qualification and have experience of supporting children with SEND?

We would like to appoint an Outreach Worker to work as part of the Early Communication Together Team, based at Pound Park Nursery School, delivering a service for children with Social Communication Needs across the Royal Borough of Greenwich. You will work as part of a team, with specialist education staff and Speech and Language Therapists, to deliver a programme of support to children and families and advice to Early Years educational settings.

Graded as outstanding since 2008, Pound Park has continued to provide quality early years’ education since 1944. The ethos of our nursery school is to offer the best early learning experience for our children as well as exceptional support to all our families.

Interviews will be held w/c 9^th December and will include a short presentation on how you have supported a child or children with social communication needs, and a short task.
