An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy Payments & Expenditure team, delivering a high-quality customer focused service. A position has arisen within Procurement, Sales and Business Services for a temporary, full time, Payments & Expenditure Officer until 31.12.27.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
The post holder will be responsible for providing a responsive, efficient and effective purchasing and payments service to all Directorates and actively supporting the end to end purchase to pay process.

You will report directly to one of two Senior Officers in the Payment & Expenditure Team, working alongside other Payment & Expenditure Officers to ensure that the purchase to pay process is carried out effectively.
To be successful you will need to demonstrate you are willing to be flexible, and support colleagues as we strive to deliver an excellent service to customers. You should demonstrate excellent communication skills, present a positive, helpful approach and be comfortable working with online financial systems.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
Candidates should have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or have Level 2/3 and relevant experience of working in an accounts payable or transactional purchasing environment or in a financial services/support environment.
